We are proud to share our little slice of paradise, you will find us in Honeywood only 20 mins north east of Hobart, set in a secluded little valley, and atop sprawling skylines overlooking Hobart, kunyani (*Mt Wellington) and the River Derwent.
We act as stewards of this land, caring for its health by working with nature instead of against it, putting in place regenerative farming practices such as regular stock rotation, maintaining and value adding to soils with regular resting of paddocks, harrowing where stock or horses have grazed in order to utilise the bio dynamics available to us to feed the soil, encourage natural bio diversity and micro organisms and promote fresh healthy growth of pastures and native flora and fauna which is vital for a healthy eco system.
Our family grew up on the land of Honeywood Valley Farms and surrounding regions. We are proud to grow ethical, eco friendly food, nurturing biodiversity alongside traditional farming practices.
We are excited to be able to offer a diverse range of agistment options from traditional private or group/shared paddocks and paddock paradise inspired track systems right through to larger spelling runs for those who want their horses to be turned out and enjoy the ability to live in a more natural herd environment.
